Mixing and Build-up techniques

I am keen to find out numerous techniques to creating build ups, breakdowns and drops that give me some guidance on br

  1. what to take away before the beat dropsbr

  2. What effects are best used and howbr
    br
  3. What equalising is common to complete these tasksbr

  4. What not to do when creating buildups etcbr

    Some of the other courses have touched on it but I am after more specifics only on techniques for variations and creating tension for the track to drop…br

That’s a big question mate. Really big. To help, can you narrow down the genre a bit? I would think it varies somewhat from genre to genre.

You can easily solve this. Grab some ten different tracks that you like. Grab a pencil and paper and listen to them. Write down what happens. See if you can replicate it. If you then have any hard time with something specific, you can ask again :Dbr
