Saw Dillon Francis at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I can’t begin to describe how nuts this stuff is when played live. Moombahton / Moombacore had the crowd going bananas. Most importantly, I have never seen girls shaking their asses like that at any EDM I’ve ever been to. Perfect speed for booty bouncing. Seriously insane. My fave new genre by a mile.
I know it’s just slowed down dirty dutch, for the most part, but there are some different aspects to it that make it pretty incredible. Lots of stutters to the synths, dubstep style drops, really fast hats, and so on.
A full-on tutorial would be rad.

This pack is a great place to start! Pretty sure I heard some of these samples in Alvin Risk and Dillon songs. It has great leads and even comes with incredible massive patches. All the loops are spot on (especially the vocal).
Thanks – have since made my own take on a Moombahton track, yet to be released / shared. Will post it up here.
Ironically, I bought that sample pack for it independent of your recommendation.
thegeek i have an advice for you :
Try playing with operator , I’ve gotten way better moombahton lead sounds than with massive with it and now I can go on synth tweaking rage
PS: that loopmasters pack is good but why not try to make something even better ? Heh
Cheers!
