I am really interested if anyone knows how to get that Mord Fustange lead sound which seems popular across many Dub artists right now.
The part I’m talking about is when it sounds like the lead quickly drops or rises up a scale at an extremely fast pace. The sound is only thrown in here and there.
My original guess is that it is used with something like step preformer in Massive set at a very fast setting.
Its just the way you set up your MIDI of course you can do it with the Step Sequencer but its just easier to write it in MIDI its basically just jumping octaves as for the sound its just mostly saw waves pitches down -12 with low intensity (2 oscillators) at low volume to provide body and then a pitched saw with some ring mod to add interest passed through a high pass filter (Parallel Filters in massive) and you can also layer another pitched sound…be creative with the pitches some can go up +7 +19 + 4 etc to create a chord like feeling really makes it harmonically rich add some bitcrushing and experiment

are you talking about the high pitched appreciated lead he uses to layer the main saw lead?
