Would be amazing if Sonic actually did some modern Cubase (7.5) tutorials… and they’ll probably need to do about 30 Cubase tutorials to catch up with Abelton. Phil or Chris… could you explain why Cubase is kicked to the curb so often? I can’t be the only one thinking this and also thinking why am I member when they don’t work on Cubase every once a while. I have nothing but love for the “effort” but could use some diversity in the DAW arena.br

Not to sound like a **** or anything, but you can do 99.9% of whatever they do in Ableton or logic, you can do in cubase. So my advice is to try to follow along whatever they are doing and you yourself should try to do it in Cubase. I find this is a great way to get to learn and understand your own daw on another level. And you also get an insight in how other daws work which is a pretty good thing.br
br
But if you are talking about basic basic like “how to use cubase” then its another thing.br
br
I find it that all the daw do basically the same thing.br
and somethings are always going to be better in other DAW’s.br

No, you didn’t sound like that much of a **** ( but I think that the tutorials are “weighted” unfairly. That’s the bottom line. I do follow along when they are using another DAW but sometimes it would be nice if they would simply use Cubase. Ask yourself the same question. Would you learn as much if you were working on a different DAW? br

Seems like Abelton is the go-to DAW and that leaves me with two choices:br
br
- Buy Abeltonbr
- Stop Paying/Subscribing to Sonic Academybr
br
Anyways, I am just trying to stir the pot with the hope of reversing this non-Cubase trend. That is all. No big thing.br
