More tuts with logic please!

MORE TUTS WITH LOGIC PLEASE!!!

FRENCH FUNKY HOUSE…

I second this, a lot of things you can simply apply the same information to any DAW although in some instances it becomes difficult!

hate to revive an old thread but I third this! Although the tutorials are amazing, its hard to translate over to different DAWs… makes the learning curve a bit steeper for us noobs

If you want it why don’t you vote on it!

http://forums.sonicacademy.com/Topic15226-10-1.aspx

Granted SA didnt set this vote up but hopefully they will see it and give the people who pay there wages what they want!

How is he gonna vote for it in the Subscribers Section?

Well if wants to be asking for things maybe he should pay up!

Well either way Mate - Cant look too good you coming back with that line.

Well done driving potential customers away.

To be fair when I posted the voting link up I didn’t see he was not a paid up member, I just took it for granted he was!

I am all for new memebers as I hope it will make SA rise there game as to be fair they have been abit crap intill latey as there has been only one usefull video for me since I started to pay to use the site and I have told SA that a fair few times now!

This is my last post here.

I respect where you are coming from Mate - 100%

I appreciate the fact that you personally admit that you are in the minority & have been looking for a hard house tut.

However - It looks v.strange that you are looking for that - and thats allowed in your book… then being smart to people looking for other tuts (who are also in the minority).

Theres a right way & a wrong way to do everything. Surprised that you would be like that… especially after all of your posts on the Topic AND Bryan’s post about what SA were intending to do.

Up to you to decide to keep it up or let it go. Being smart like that on this forum to Noobs is not what we do around here.

To J.Hiz & anyone else reading this: SA have committed to doing Tut’s in most of the Major DAW’s. There are many different subscribing options available - so you dont need to break the bank to give it a try.

And we’re all cool around here - Any probs & you can usually get it sorted asap :)

To be fair I don’t see how I have been smart to anyone, I made a mistake that one of the 3 people asking for a logic tut couldn’t post or vote in the link I put up, my bad!

If anything I was being helpful to people who want to see more logic video’s as it would put there % up and bring abletons % down, not what I want but I was just trying to help out some fellow subscribers!

I’m contemplating paying for a subscription but there just isnt enough logic based material for me :frowning: I sent an email to customer service seeing there was an option to pay on a “per tutorial” bases. Hopefully there is something they can figure out for us Logic users!

Dude if there covering the genre you are into and you are new to the production world then it’ll be worth it!

Also know that they have a trance tut coming up in logic logic soon.

Hey J.Hiz - Please dont let those comments put you off thinking about joining.

I’ve both Ableton & Logic… But use Logic more. I find the tutorials easy to transfer over to Logic.

They use Sylenth mainly in the Tut’s - so if you have that, you are 1/2 way there.

In terms of using fx, techniques etc… I think you actually learn a little more, trying to reverse engineer something. Everyones different of course, but I like the practical aspect of that…

I signed up when it was 100% Ableton. There are some courses available on Loopmasters & Time & Space w/sites if you want to buy a one-off either. I think you can get them here like that too.

Why would any of these comments put anyone of joining?

As already said if they are covering his chosen genre and he is new to the production world then he should join up.

J.Hiz teh video’s are easy to follow and you will learn from them, even though only one video has helped me so far, it did help in a big way!

Maybe I would of picked up what I know from SA if I had not gone to college so more videos could of been useful, but who knows!

I’ve never been to a place where people fight over who’s nicer! I’m flattered hahaha… I went ahead and purchased the subscription for 3 months. I figure ill try it out and see where it gets me! Thanks for all of the help both of you guys. I look forward to seeing you guys around the forums when all of my noob questions arise!
