You can. Why not. But most often you use more then 1 EQ on a single track when you do some compression or any other effect that changes the sound after you’ve EQ’d it.
So, EQ>Compressor>EQ>Phaser>EQ can very well be used.
Just remember, if you can’t get the sound with one EQ instance why not try another EQ instance
