my question is if iv got a vocal sample and mixed in key tells me its in B minor, for my lead theoretical i can use any note in Bm eg B, C♯, D, E, F♯, G, A, B??br

also is there a vst for ableton that i can put on a channel that will tell me what key a sample or tune is in without having to use mixed in key?br

Spectrum may help, other than that im not really aware of any. Ear training/using a keyboard is probably the quickest way to do it!
