I have been trying to get a bit of groove happening and about 1 minute into the tutorial he starts moving a percentage value up but when I go to the spot he is at to change this it is where the name of the clip is 
I am running the most updated version of Live 8 Suite, donāt know whats up although iām thinking its gonna be something very simple 
You will need to pick a groove from the groove browserā¦ Then drag it your clip.

Phil is correct. I used the swing-16 99 for the swing example, so drag it to your clip. Now, for the purposes of the tutorial, I have several clips lined up in the session view ready to go with those percentages factored into each individual clip. I did this so I could just cycle through them quickly and show everyone how the notes move. The clip label showing the percentage is just that, a label. It doesnāt really have anything to do with the effect of the groove pool at all.
Also, the notes in your clip will not show any sign of movement until you actually ācommitā to the groove. This is most likely the reason why you arenāt seeing any action in the clip itself. We can always āhearā the groove happening when we change the percentage, but we only āseeā it when we hit the commit button.

I was confused because I wasnāt seeing any of the notes move as I was changing the percentage but you were just cycling through different clips, got it now
