Hi guys need some help please.
My kick is in the key of G but i want to write my tune in A Minor.
Do i need to tune my kick to an A or can i keep it as it is seeing as how G is in the A minor scale.

Hi, I would move the song to Gminor or the kick to A.
You really want your kick to be the root of your scale. And its not to wise to be moving kicks more the 2 semi tones up or down as it messes up the tone.
