oh this is great advice… i was wondering, if your music is played in another country, how do you get royalties from it? Or you don’t?

If you are signed to a publisher they will collect international royalties for you.



i think prs are getting better at this if youre self published… You used to have to sign up to each countrys collection agencybut prs collect for you for quite a few now.


For anyone in holland wanting to know about this its called the Buma/Stemra it costs something like 90 euros to join everything, they then sort out your tracks pkays and stuff and you get a payment every year which corresponds to yoir tracks play time.
