sounds old skool
good tune mate only thing that i noticed was it needs more bass, apart from that its spot on
Yeah this was really good man. I enjoyed it a lot. Especially the breakdown. Good work.
I def couldn’t feel the bass when I listened to it though. I was on headphones though.
Overall not bad man! Keep em coming!
Nice track man my only complaint is the bass theres not really much there i hear the mids but the bass is absent

See where your kick is hitting in the spectrum and notch that frequency by a bit on the sub
or Sidechain
Absolutely love this man! As you’ve prolly heard a million times, my only complaint would be the bass but its a really well done song! Love the piano break in the beginning, great melody!

When it comes to drum and bass or dubstep (alright, tunes where the sub bass is important) I personally wouldn’t recommend sidechaining your sub to a kick, unless that’s the sound you’re going for, of course. Boost/Cut so you can keep the flow of the sub sounding good. I don’t know, hearing a dip in the sub when the kick triggers sort of takes away from that low-end experience, in my opinion.
sounded a lot better when i put my bass knob all the way to the right, just sort out that bass section and its tidy! also i noticed maybe a bit more snap on the drums try a transient shaper!

you dont have to do it drastically! it doesnt have to be audiblejust enough so it notches out that part
thks guy,i take it that its all good response, now the SA guys needs to make a good tutorial on a bassline, how to get the idea and how to resample ,chop it up and re-arrange them, thks guy
The other trick with sidechaining is to use a trigger track. Duplicate your KICK in ableton once you have it sounding perfect. from there just turn off that audio channel but always keep the same midi in the duplicate channel. From there you just sidechain everything to the duplicate track. That way even when the kick drops out, you still have something to sidechain too…
