Grizzl3 Bear (Müller Edit) by J.HiZ
This is something a friend of mine and I have been playing around with.
Please rip it apart!
How does the riff sound? does it flow well? anything?! it took me a while to even get the stones up to share it!
hey man!
this was pretty good!
i was rocking out to it at work on my headphones. It had me swayin.
I will give it a listen later and see how the bass is on the monitors.
The riff/melody is good though. Now all you gotta do is make it into a full track.
My suggestion to you is to get a basic arrangement done on the track to make it a good 5 minutes and from there to start varying the 1-shots and add some new ones in there.
Also if you can… put another bass sound somewhere in the riff. It sounds like you have only 2 main bass sounds. Add a 3rd bass sound that sounds nice & phat. Maby give it a different wobble rate then the rest? It will add another layer of interest to the whole track.
Craziness!
Mixing is done well here, and I got a very clean sound from the track (or filthy, whichever one, hah)
What I would do is remove all the little one shots and put them at bar 4. It gives it a nice alternation and flow. Bring up the bass as well, you can’t hear the grittiness of it all, but I can tell there’s something really nice under the one-shots.
sounds pretty awesome

yeah I get what you mean… a lil trick out of the porter Robinson production book. You can’t hear the one-shots very well because it’s not mixed at all. I just wanted to see if the vibe was there… I haven’t had the time to really dig a bit deeper into the track but will definitely post my edits when I get to it. Thanks for the feedback!
I’m not much of a dubstep fan but that sounds like most of the stuff you hear on the radio. Just needs a girly vocal over the top and a catchy hook line.

Lol, Nina
Yes, this does have a good vibe.
Juicy *** sound!!! Did you make those synths from scratch or compile them from a sample library?

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve been busy over the last few weeks so I haven’t had the chance to get back to this project… For the bass-line, I used both self made patches and different presets… I hope to have the arrangement down soon!
hi there. really nice tune. cool sounds. i like when the song changes alot. lots of bleeps and game sound. but the main hook could be a little more noticable. does not sound like a mess, not at all. just something that instantly sounds like a hook/lead. other than that, great work man! good luck exploring the genre.
