My first "Finished" Track - Feedback needed

Hey everyone. I just finished my first track and I would really appreciate as much feedback as possible. Its a house track, with a little touch of deepness to it. Here is the link to download it:

Thanks again everyone!

Sorry.

Hi howie, I personally love deep house, so I rather enjoyed analyzing your tune. When I critique others music, I try to not make any suggestions that are based in my personal preferences for how the song should go, just giving my honest perspective on how the sounds are working together.

  • Kick sounds good

  • I like the sound of the first bongo loop, but not the second at all. This bongo continues to cause problems when the bass kicks in, with the bass drowning out the sound of the bongo hit and the reverb of the bongo distorting the bassline.

  • The higher synth riff that comes in seems a bit harsh on my ears, maybe just dropping it back a bit, and I really like the “horn” response line.

  • I loved the groove when the claps and cymbals came in, and low-and-behold, that second bongo riff is gone, replace by a much better bongo line, and the whole track just came alive.

Everything sounded good until about 4:00, when some little synth stab sounded out of key, but it doesn’t stick out like sore thumb.

I thought for the track’s groove and the drops-rises were all really well done.

And of course, feel free to nit pick my first tune sometime.

this your first track your s**ting us, like it, keep it up.

cheers david

thank you very much guys. I appreciate your feedback.

It wasnt really mastered, so I’m sure the issues with the high frequencies clashing would be taken care of by a professional.

yeah dude i like it, left you some feedback in the pm

I like the kick for sure dude. You better put a high hat on it before someone borrows it, lol. The bass made me move dude. I like the first drop out and come back up. Good work man.

First track I’ve listened to here…

Wouldn’t be mad into deep house but I like it mate…!

Loving the bassline!!

Thank you very much!

Nice & funky!

I’m pretty crap at this myself but I agree with what everybody else said. Great for a first tune though & the buildups/breakdowns were really good.

Good job
