Well, I’ve been dragged into the whole producer scene in a bid to make some ultra-melodic trance music, akin to some Nightcore. I’m not a fan of progresstive Trance, so there’s little to offer me that I haven’t already heard (I have Basshunter, Tiesto, and many of the Ministry of Sound albums, but I can’t find much else that I really love). After about a week of composing around half a dozen melodies, I’ve made these two into full tracks. As for now, they’re on youtube, but I’ll upload them on Soundcloud as soo as I can. My first piece - The Fairground - is more melodic, whilst my second - House of Horror - is more of an experiment into effects and heavy layering (however, I have problems with making a clean sound, on the second piece. Not much I can do, however, and yes, I’ve fiddled with sound levels and optimized it like that).
There’s not much bass and texture in my pieces - I tend to use a simplistic four-four syncopated bassline as an extension of the melody - And there isn’t much of an original texture either, but I’m getting to grips with them, now that I’ve fiddled about with basic synths.

you’ll get better luck with feedback if you embed the tracks into your post directly, preferably with the soundcloud player
in relation to your tracks though, i did like the melody on the house of horrors track, sounded pretty cool//old school hard trancey. i would suggest more EQing though, the drums are too quiet/weak. try layering 2 kicks together, a punchy one with the low end rolled freqs off and a subby kick with the high freqs rolled off, and maybe even add some transient shaping to your kick this plugin works wonders for kicks i think:
