My real problem

So… here is my problem… br
br
br
I can’t get my own sound. br
br
If you listen to feed me or deadmau5 they have this kinda crispy relation between frequencies that i can’t seem yet to understand. br
br
They get this cutting edge sound but yeat clear and very easy to listen. br
br
How many parts do they use for layer each sound? br
br
The signal before mastering has lots of dynamics? br
br
br
and most important…br
br
Can you get it with Ableton 9 live Standard with and any soft synth like A.N.A ?br

Hi Johnson,PI’m not all so sure what it is you’re talking about, but since you mentioned “crispy” I think it’s a layer of white noise.nbsp; I find the easiest way to manipulate it is as follows (in Ableton)/PPPut up an Instrument Rack with one channel you’re main synth sound or other instrument that plays the melody that’s in need of “crisp”.nbsp; Add a channel with a white noise synth (you can use ANA or Ableton’s built in analog).nbsp; Cut off the lows, and play around with the filter envelop of the white noise (attack, decay,…) Works best if you also adjust the volume envelope with short attack and decay so you don’t muddy up the leading sound.nbsp; /PPyou can also route the MIDI to a channel with the white noise in stead of putting it in Instrument Racks.nbsp; I find the way I described it easier to keep an overview when mixing the arrangement./PPA little distortion could work wonders too./PPI hope this is what you’re looking for./PPCheers!
