Had a listen,
Sound top to me - loved the breakdown and the way it builds back and kicks in. Nice one
I think you need to mix the beats up a little, they get to monotonous for me, stick some random effects in there too to liven it up a bit. Maybe filter some of the synth work to make it sound less ‘out of the box’.
I think the track is also in desperate need of a good bassline to it.
Hi guys,
Downloaded your new track and loved it, I have even placed it in my new mix cd (Will post a link when it’s all finished).
If it’s ok with you I would also like to play it out live to see how it goes down? (I dj a Sankeys in Manchester every month :w00t: )
If you wanted a vst that can mess with your beats to keep them interesting then here are a couple that I use (Be careful not to over do it!! I sometimes spend hours messing around with effects! ha ha )
See pics I have attached

Cheers fella
I will let you know how it goes down
Hey Soulfool,
I was wondering if you could explain how you got the stuttering type effect just after the breakdown when it starts to kick back in. Its a cleaver technique that i have heard before but dont know how to do it in ableton - its the riff sort of repeated and stuttered. Do you just reduce the size of the loop? Can you explain further to help me?
Cheers

Try downloading Glitch = http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/
It can give you wicked effects and more like what I think you’re asking for.
Cheers Roben
I’ll download it and see.
Hey buddy, u got it right, to get the stuttering effect in the build up just shortened the loop and added a filter, it enhances the build.
Mate Rocking tune good work… Loved the sample a bit of a vocal stab in there using glitch would go a treat too!!
Keep it up your rockin it
Cool track and i love the sample. Really good, think it just needs a bit more of a deeper bass though. Rockin track though
