Can anyone work out what synth was used to make the lead / breakdown in this track :

I’ve been able to work out the keys, but i can’t create the same sound, it’s annoying me.

ok the websites really annoying me, it still keeps posting everything i write all clumped up together with no spaces between paragraphs.
Well in those days soft synths werent quite as common as they are now so would assume its hardware.
Probably one of the following: Virus C, Yamaha AN1x, jp-8080, nord lead 2, Super Nova
Those were popular synths back then.
Roland JP8080 was possibly the more popular synth back when this track was created although the virus Rack, and C took a lot of the credit for a huge amount of the tracks created around this time.
I f*cking love this track, one of my favorites from back in that day.

Darn jon - was half hoping you’d come back with a: saw wave + pulse wave, turn saturation up to 5.3, filter blah blah…
lol, i really could do with something like that, i’ve been trying to re-create it in massive but not having any luck. Also gave sylenth1 a try but again… 
The original is very wide and i’m assuming thats chorus on it, but i dont know there is just something about it i just cant re-create, im sh*t at synthasis though to be honest

sorry dude i’ve been doing this in between trying to get my track finished after tonight the track gets handed over to howard for 3 days so i’ll have 3 days to get stuck into it
i think the best synth to be using to get the sound would be v-station! do you have v-station or would you like me to try it with another synth.
also have you got the midi for the riff as it’s much easier to work out the sound when its play the midi sequence than just constantly hitting one key
i’ve not got the patients to work out the riff lol

I don’t have the midi no, i roughly keyed in something myself just to work with but haven’t played it exact. Would you like that anyways?
By the way mate, do you have any idea how i could re-create that funky stab sound in the track? It’s that stab and the synth that i want to take.
