I concurr. "Show me an Irish man and I'll show you a fanny. Show me a Scottish man and I'll show you a hero." |
+1 for the DnB tut and +1 for Saulable's Quote LLLLLOOOOOLLLLL:w00t:
I like Netsky but I would prefer to see a HTSL on one of the other Hospital producers like Logistics or Danny Byrd.
Danny Byrd is doing really well at the moment - had a top 40 single recently, which is pretty good going for dnb!
I also like the way he fuses liquid with jungle breakbeats on some of his tracks. As far as I’m aware, there aren’t any tutorials dealing with breakbeats in that style, so it would bring something new to SA. The closest I’ve seen is layering an Amen behind a beat to add some shuffle, which isn’t really the same.

yeh man any kind of hospital style liquid dnb
We are massively in need of a bit of liquid funk! Danny Byrd and Netsky all the way. Ableton is the one for now lol. There are too many people here wanting this to ignore it. Let’s go!
liquid DnB

Something like [/quote]
Noooooooo. To minimal, liquid is all about uplifiting, melodic dnb with really nice sub heavy modulated basslines. IMO anyway.
Something like these
- YouTube
- YouTube
Netsky - Eyes Closed (HQ) - YouTube
Okay how about a minimal dnb tutorial as well as a liquid dnb tutorial!
Come on there are tutorials for 50 different house genres.
No more trance please!!
I’d be happy with either minimal or liquid dnb though I think there’s more layers to the liquid genre so it’d be better to have on on that.
If the SA guys could get Boris to do it, even better
+1
still +1
Bumpy…Surely now practically every genre of house, techno and trance (Boo!) has been covered its about time dnb was covered in more detail?
+1 for an up to date dnb track
yeah, but i think that a style of sub focus is what i wanna see, something like hold on sub focus remix, very up lifting.
