Yeah… its a crime isnt it? Pity though. I think he’s really funny & witty.
Thing is, he became a property developer in LA during the inbetween years. I’d say his portfolio took an utter hammering & he needs to do it for his retirement. Still, Iggy Pop did an Insurance Ad - 100 & Barechested. Now thats really selling out to the man.
Punk selling out to Farmers is just fkn embarrassing.
Did anyone see the Alice Cooper ad. Think it was for a Credit Card. Not that he had any cred anyway :w00t:
I’d say a lot of them lost the seat of their pants in recent times.
Well to be fair anything Malcom Mclaren touches turns to poison
It musn’t be forgotten the punk scence though small was already bubbling over when the pistols were formed
Bands like The New York Dolls, Ultravox, The Residents, The Ramones and cabaret voltaire to name a few were formed at least 2.5 years before.
Though I never saw the pistols, I still think bands like The Clash, The Undertones, Soux and The Damned had far more positive infuence on the british music scene at the time
Though ICN if I was to post any pistols songs those would be the two

ye basicaly being a complete selfish c**t and no caring about the consequences or other peoples feelings.
At his time, back in the days of punk, yeah i think that’s exactly what it was about. About breaking the mould, etc. Just like again with that ‘baz’ guy from Happy Mondays.

I really liked The Stooges. Never really got into the others. Though I liked the Clash, I never had a tape. I know there were other punks & McClaren… but I just really liked them I suppose.
But WTF do you mean Slender, that everything he touches turns to poison?

except he totally does give a **** what people think and there’s nothing more pathetic than a desperate man pretending to be a rebel.
