Tech Tips 18 - Autopan sidechain is now available for your eyes and ears. Bryan takes a look at using autopan within Ableton to re-create a sidechain effect. Enjoy!

wasnt this already given up as a tip in the kansas city shuffle walk through?i havent seen it in ages but i think he was using an older version of ableton so he had to use teh autopan.i might be mistaken.

nah you must be confusing it with another tutorial elsewhere.:smiley:

i know what you mean though i am sure i’ve seen something on the same lines before but nowhere near as detailed as the new SA tip.


i used in my kansas city shuffle tune, and in the walkthrough just explained what it was. but didn’t explain how to set it up exactly!


seems like bobby lupo’s memory wasn’t at fault after all then.
