New Drum & Bass tutorial please!

Hi all at sonic academy, I would love to see a new drum & bass tutorial, as the logic one that is on this site is old and very basic it is not one of the better ones that you have here, so id like to see an updated or fresh tutorial that really meets the standard you have been setting recently, with the advanced tutorials that have been coming of late ( peak time trance, popstep/dubstep, tech disco ) to name but a few!

Personally I would really like to see a liquid funk tutorial in the same vain as logistics, brookes brothers, high contrast, marcus intalex, calibre, ez-rollers, just to name a few! and not go to much on the darkside tip as I feel you have covered this area already with the dubstep tutorials.

I feel you could really go to town with this especially with the musical side to this kind of production with some in depth tutorials on chord structures, maybe even using some samples of live orchestration or perhaps some kind of symphonic vst to give that liquid sound, and the use of effects that really make liquid funk drum & bass stand out.

I feel you could really go to town on aspects such as breaks layering (loops) as you have done with the recent tech house tutorial and percussion to give the track a funky groove, and of course the basslines, as we have had plenty of tutorials on bassline wobbles, it would be great to see something different in this area, id also like to see bassline layering, modulation and then resampling like a lot of the pros do and how to implement a good sub to it as well.

I feel this is an area that is lacking in here and is a very popular electronic genre and Im sure that a tutorial like this would be very popular here and if you look around on the net its a genre that is lacking in real quality tutorials, so please bear this in mind and hopefully in the not to distant future you could implement another one here.

Thanks for reading

Ya, I want a Drum and Bass tutorial for Ableton, if possible.

I am thinking Nuero-funk/Tech-step would be nice. Something along the lines of Noisia, Sub-focus, and Ed Rush & Optical sound.

Liquid would be nice too, ill take either or. Just need it to be for Ableton

Music along the lines I am looking for…

Timewarp - Sub Focus

Cyberskin - Ed Rush and Optical

Midnight Express - Dieselboy

Yes, DnB is the only main genre which is not covered in Ableton yet…would like to see a generic tut on this…

Im mainly a trance producer but id be very intrested in seeing a drum and bass tutorial, i think learning how to produce genres that are not your “main” sound can be a massive benfit to all producers

this definitely needs doing, either liquid/electro funk or a neuro/tech one would be sweet!!!
