This is what I have been looking for also.

Great Job.

Do you think I could Massive since I cannot run Sylenth1 on my G5? I am working on getting an Intel mac just to use Sylenth1.

Thanks

You can run just about any softsynth. They all do pretty much the same thing, its just Sylenth has a very simple user interface. You can achieve pretty much the same sound with Operator and many other synth plugins out there.

i cant get this tutorial to work for me? it says i need to be a subscriber (i already am) can anyone help?

yeah i manged to do it but had to sign in twice after the second error mesage it let me access the videos

Superb Video ! But, please tell me why are you using only the Sylenth 1 for the Basslines !

There are a lot of synth outside :stuck_out_tongue:

cheers Chris

Please take a look on the brandnew Waldorf Largo

sorry about that guys, we’ve been having a few teething problems with the new page linking system we’ve been using

if you logged back in when you received the error it should have let you have access to the videos, i have however updated the links and it should be all working now!

as for using sylenth a lot, it has mainly been to help you guys out as much as possible. its a very simple interface and easy to program. it also has a great sound. if we can get the sounds out of one instrument as opposed to 4 different ones, it means you don’t have to go out and buy 4 different vsts every time we make a tutorial!

Hi Bryan !

I think you are Right ! But, please make a Cubase 5 Tutorial as soon as possible. It s unfair for a lot of Subscribers who are working with Cubase to see only Ableton Live 8 Tutorials…

 Thanks Chris

I personally don’t use Cubase but I’m sure that any of the tutorials can be transposed using any different type of program.

Sylenth is a phenomenal synth that is easy to use, program, and sounds fantastic. There is really no reason to use a different Synth to create the sounds when this will create just about anything with the highest quality.

Bry and Phil - Please dont change the synth up. This is the easiest way to learn.

Sorry dude , thats a big difference between Cubase 5 and Ableton Live 8 !

I am working with both programms, and i think both of them has their own Workflow !

Lots of people are still working with Cubase and so its a good thing to make one of the next tutorials in Cubase 5,

So you can adapt all the things to Ableton !

Once Again, the Sylenth is a fantastic Synth, all i have to said is that the brandnew Waldorf Largo even sounds a little big fatter and clearer…

If you have enough Money its a good choice to buy both !

I sold my G5 and made an Intel core duo 2.0 Mac clone for like 200 dollars. Now I can use Sylenth1 on OSX. Also if people are going to ask for tutorials with Cubase. I would say what about Logic even though I am totally happy with Ableton and would never even think of using Cubase.

Could anyone help me by posting a link to where I can find this course on the site? Have looked in the Music Production Tutorials Section but can’t see it anywhere!

It’s in the Subscriber Videos section

how long should this style song be?

Thanks

Good work!
