Hows it goin guys, just found this forum a little while agoā€¦

Ā I got drawn in by the" how to sound like prodigy" tutorials haha , GOOD STUFF!

welcome guys

Hi everyone

This is a great site

Hope more great tutorial comming soon .

Hey guys ^^ Welcome to the SA

Just thought Iā€™d say hi to everyone. Ive been a member for a couple of months now so it would be rude not to say hello.

Im fairly new to music production and although Iā€™ve dabbled with FL studio for the last few years Iā€™ve never really known what I was doing or had a real understanding of the software I was using or what it was capable off. Recently I saw the introduction video for Tech Trance on youtube and thought it sounded awsome, so I purchased ableton, subcribed to Sonic and started working through the tech trance tutorial. I had never used ableton before properly; I tried it the one but ditched it as I couldnt figure how to use it, but in the space of a 3-4 days and a few tutorials I learnt more about production than I had in the last 5 years.

I dont know the guys name who did the video but hats off to him and the other guys who produce some of the best tutorials I have seen.

I cant believe how much better I am now, Ive already had both of my first 2 ableton remixes played out at a big club in Nottingham and a promotre / Dj for Godskitchen asked for a copy of my last remix after listening to it on youtube: [url= - YouTube] - YouTube Theyr not great in terms of levels and mastering and the ā€˜Snapā€™ remix was modified from the tech trance tutorial. I really appreciate constructive criticism, so let me know wher you think it could sound better.

Happy Producing Guyā€™s

Well hello!

Iā€™m a Sonic Academy newbie too. Iā€™ve actually just started working for Sonic as their marketing manager. We suspect 2010 will be a very exciting year! Itā€™s all go at the moment with us launching our new site and moving to a new, top notch office/studio next month. Thereā€™s plenty more big hits this year too, but Iā€™ll tell you more about those as we go along. Youā€™re likely to see me posting on the forum pretty regularly from now on.

If you have any special requests for the site (*non-technical ones please), or any spectacular marketing ideas, Iā€™d love to hear them. Feel free to message me directly through the forum.

Enjoy SonicAcademy.com and keep your eyes peeled for new content. Iā€™ll get you guys updated on what exactly is to come when Iā€™ve more details in hand.

Talk soon!

Louise

Thanks for a great site. Iā€™ve been lurking here for a month or so and following the tutorials, but I think I need to be more polite and say hello, and what a great resource this site is.
