New Member's Say Hello

Howdy y’all.

Just kidding. What’s up, my name’s James. I’m from Mississippi in the U.S. (for better or worse :hehe: ) Just wanted to throw something up in here before I started posting in the other threads.

I’m more a convert I guess you could say. I’ve always loved electronic music but have leaned further towards the heavy metal side of things in the past. However, that type of music creation doesn’t suit my style as much so here I am.

As far as my inspirations etc, it’s pretty much Kaskade and then everyone else for me. Others in my iTunes would be Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Pendulum, and Trentemoller but I’m sure I’m missing some.

So, with that said, hope to see you around.

Hi, my name is Henrik and I come from Lund in Sweden. Currently studying and where I live house music has become extremely popular. No matter which student pub you go out to you’re destined to hear SHM - One and Tim’s Bromance. I kinda like Swedish house since I’m beeing a bit patriotic but other than that I listen to almost all genres.

Hi,

My name is David I go by my artist name vonikk and I am so glad to have joined Sonic academy as here in new jersey/new york area there are no schools teaching music like these guys

Hi People,

hi all dj dumpling here im working with albeton im looking to advance my mixing skill further and also trying to find out if i can have all my eqs in 1 place on my screen so they can be used easier

Hello all, I’ve just found out and joined this website today, I found the site by looking for tutorials on how to use Ableton live 8 and I found your channel. I’m 15, I’m from Scotland and I love trance music, my idol is Tiesto, I’ve been to see him live once which was just last month, September the 25th 2010. I’d just love to be able to make music like he does, I’m finding it very hard to work Ableton, I only have the 30 day trial so I want to make the most of it before I think about purchasing it. Thanks!

Fair play to ya Mate!

Welcome to the site - Its a cool forum

Welcome to your new home

Hi people,

I just will say hello

Grtz. from Holland

Hey everybody!

I’m Aniek, don’t really have an alias jet, but still thinking about it. I was into singing and playing piano but then wanted to record it. Eventually it evolved in wanting to make electronic music. Already looked at some of the tutorials and they’re great!! Love them

x Aniek (from Holland too)

hello, looking forward to hear a lot on this forum

hey everybody! hopefully will have some tunes to show you soon

howdy all, im new. excuse the long message: ive joined the forums to get in touch with like minded people who dig music, to learn production techniques and collaborate with others to produce something new and exciting, to learn about new and different genres and to promote myself as a dj and producer of darker sounds. Im always happy to give feedback on productions/mixes as i believe that its hard to be objective about your own music so its v helpful for someone else to give it a listen and give constructive criticism, its also always interesting for me to see what others are producing.

I am a dj/fan/producer and purveyor of dark sounds. I was introduced to the world of the london underground party scene and was drawn in and never left. My musical style is inspired by the dark underground parties that made me realise there was a whole new world of music out there. I find it hard to consistently find dark material, so i make my own, tracks on www.www.soundcloud.com/hefty

Djwise I play dark disturbing techno and minimal tek, no happy stuff.

im looking for musical banter and other fans of the dark side and anyone up for making some dark tunes, i use Reason 4.0
