this is what i apparently struggle with the most and apparently i really need to get it right… what are u referencing on to have some idea of what its getting played back on…br

edit: of course i try in go back into live to do what i can to fix the kick and ableton takes a **** on me and wont authorize for some reason…if anyone has exp with this please let me know, thank you!br
Yeah, the kick is a wee bit boomy for the feel of the track, also some variation on the main synth wouldn’t go a miss :)br

And no never had that issue, have you checked their forums? Normally has good answers 
What do you mean with the authorize? Does it start up in demo mode?br

The kick is indeed to heavy. Just play a loop and change the kick until you find one that suits the track. Then you can adjust the decay, attack, frequencies, etc.

I have really been trying to develop an ear for what works well together ( mainly the bass and kick elements ). I suppose i have more work to do than i thought, im def. up for the challenge
