Hi Dano, just had a listen to your track and it’s sounding pretty good dude. I think the snare could do with brightening up a bit and the kick could maybe do with a little boost, but the rest is sounding top notch my friend!
Hey man, thanks for listening. I tried a bunch of other kick samples, but I couldn’t get another one to work. I need to learn some more tricks to get it phatter without ruining the song. As far as the snare, I hear you.

You could try layering a deeper kick over the top of it, but only use the start of the kick to give it more weight.
Or you could have a go at doing some New York Compression? I haven’t used it myself but my mate has used it in Reason and he said its awesome, but beware as its made him have to go back and do another mixdown on his track as the kick sounds that crisp now! 
not a style i listen to but i quite enjoyed this one, i actually like that the kick is kinda week and not too in your face but thats just my personal taste
Maybe its just me but for a genre like this I think you need a much more powerful kick drum. Cant hear it or really feel the kick?
Nice track though! Like the use of wub wubs in this one.
