New room, where to place?

im moving and having the odd shaped bedroom on the left



there will be 2 desks, one for comp, one for decks and a chest of draws for apc + double bed,



from a monitoring point of view, where would be the best place for my speakers?

There no way you can get the other? It would be far superior (and doesn’t even have parallel walls!!) In the event you can’t I’d say put them on the wall shared by the two bedrooms. You want to avoid corners and that odd room shape at the top of picture as much as possible. However this might not work depending on how big your bed is and also there will be more sound leakage through that wall into the other room.

Shoud be a nice room whatevef you do… Nice size and angles. I would fire a bass trap in that sharp corner.

ha, it looks like it use to be a pub, now its a flat above a clothes shop in lewisham



it’s gotta be the room on the left unfortunately as it’s the spare room for my den / double bed



will take your advice and put it against the flat wall
