give it a spin and criticise please!
Nice tune mate, I love the way it starts, you’ve done a really nice job of the reverb on the drums, gives the track a nice wide feel and works with the bass. If I were to criticise, I’d say maybe say introduce another element in the higher frequencies to add some more interest and work the arrangement abit. Mind you are you going for that minimal vibe?
Good work.

dead on mate i was thinkin it might need something else at the top end
i had very small variations every 16 bars but theyre prob a bit too slight some of the times.
i had accidentally deleted all the drum samples out of the project folder last night!!! :pinch:
but found them again this morning with some methodical detective work - phew!
i had a hard time separating the kick and the bassline as they were masking each other quite badly
do you think they sit distinct from each other in the mix?
I think an industrial sounding organ would work a treat to keep that dark flavour. Or maybe a subtle plucky element of some sort.
i agree with danny, good start but felt like the groove didnt change much throught the whole track and made me loose interest. i do think the processing on the drums is spot on and i like the snare breaks in the middle of some of the sections
thanks for the comments lads
working a#on a different track at the min but the project file keeps going wierd.
spent hour fixing it.saved it…closed and reopened and it had reverted back to before i fixed it!!!
wish i had saved it as a second version…at least i know now how to fix it and will spend tomorrow evening doing it all over again
suppose i’ll have a better idea of how cubase functions by the time i get it back to working again.
