Hope you guys like it :). Worked hard on this one!

What Happened to Rave (Loopmasters Sonar Remix Competition) by Music Science

Nice and DEEP !

Loved the glitched percussion.

Cheers mate. Used beat repeat on a loop, gave some nice results!

Yeah… like that too Saul. V.deep.

Did you end up doing much of your own in it in the end? or were you able to destroy everything to your taste with samples?

had a listen to that pack - plenty of stuff to choose from… say the remixes will be all over the fkn shop! Gonna be a hard one to judge.

I only used the bass loop and that glitched one (warped). The rest I used them as a source for a sound then loaded them all into simpler, sampler, alchemy etc - transposed them all. Made melodies etc. Was difficult, but I was trying to be original and try not to do what everyone else is probably doing so that it stood out.

I think that’s what I like mate really, deep techno. Dunno yet, will see where it goes.

Yep a really deep tune - loved the production on it - your defiantly improving my friend

Beautiful chords and very sexually deep. Great progression too, kept me bobbing my head til the end.

I could make love to my missus with this on in the background … it would have to be a radio edit though, I’m getting on a bit!

That’s an excellent track. Love the opening, how it subtly builds. Enjoyed the listen mate.

Very cool chillout song. Nice to have poolside.

very nice vibes there mate, like it alot

Thanks for listening guys/ gals/ things (ICN)

@gav - haha, I tried out your tactic on an unsuspecting girlfriend. Funnily enough it created the same effect as you described man

I liked that wee comment you made slender, “definitely improving”. I read between the lines there,it’s as if you’re saying that “it’s ok, but I know the good stuff is yet to come.” It made me think mate.

On another note, what is actually happening with SA these days, they need to pull their finger out and get more techno tutorials up. There’s four main genres at the moment in dance music, techno, dubstep, dnb, house. Once you got those four things covered properly and in depth, then start working on the wee niche things like tech disco?? etc etc. Those four things are hard enough and is what everybody is listening to now anyway IMO. Just don’t get it. The saying, jack of all trades, master of none springs to mind.
