New to all this!

hi all,

i am very new to music production!

i have been a dj for around 10 years and really want to explore the world of music production.

i have taken music lessons (theory & keyboard),so im down with all that side of it but its the software side thats causing me a few problems lol!

basically i have started using ableton live 8! i have a few vst’s including sylenth and izotope and i want to input these into ableton as a vst! i havent got a clue where the vst folder is when i installed the software?? so finding it really hard to get everything in order! also i want to have a direct path to my sample packs!

how do i go about setting this all up so i can get into making some tunes!! lol

any help will be massively apreciated!!

thanks alot

jay:)
