let me know what you think, don’t know what all the clicks and little jumps are from (think its something to do with uploading to soundcloud in 24bit)

took 4 hours from start to this point
Really like the track dude, bloody amazing for four hours (well impressed), it’s pretty much there apart from abit of automation in and out for the breakdowns. I really like how your stab works with the kind of plucky string, when the pluck comes in it gives a real sense or urgency. To be honest I wouldn’t change much, maybe add a variation to the bass part and maybe introduce the pluck earlier and do some cut-off automation. But then again it’s great the way it is.
What synths did you use?

all the sounds i either made using either sylenth or abletons plug-ins.
i’ve been playing around with the bass added some vocal stabs and touches of reverb, i’ll upload the new version next week when im off work again.
thanks for the feedback
Look forward to it mate.
You’re not London based by any chance are you?

nope mate sorry dude, i’m a norfolk boy lol, wish i was in london could maybe hook up with some like minded producers.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking, you learn so much more jamming with different people doing collabs and what not. Still Norfolk isn’t a world away.
Forgot to ask, have you had any luck getting any of your stuff signed?
dannycueballtaylor (25/04/2010)
Forgot to ask, have you had any luck getting any of your stuff signed?
not i any rush to get anything signed mate! i’ve had stuff signed in the past but feel i rushed into things the first and second time round, i’d rather attempt to produce quality music and take my time than to just flood the market with crap
jon i really like the tune, all the elements blend together well, and the mixing and overall balance of the mix is top notch, is this the same track that you had a short snippet of before?
wow, that’s awesome. It would definitely be on my iPod on my frequently played list.
Yeah I like the tune too - nice one mate - and Norfolk aint that far from London

sure its not only hour or so in the car but with no license currently its becomes a trek on the train or bus lol
Jon,
One thing ive noticed about your tunes is that they are improving over time. I dont mean that in a bad way but you can see your progress and skill just getting better and better. I dont normally comment too much on tunes but felt the need to on this one.
Top one:)

thanks mate, i really appreciate full and honest feedback as its the only way i will improve lol, still building on this track and sounds over all. i think the major difference is that i enjoyed laying this track out when usually i get really bored at the structure stage but with this track for me at least once the main loop was made the track practically structured itself
track has now been updated with imo a more improved mix, Vox, better eqing
let me know what you think
Sounds Good has a nice vibe to it = "- I will be writing fullout tracks when I get my New PC - Ahh 16 GIGs of RAM and a New CPU
no more stupid Vst overloads
