Gave it a listen at work - on decent but still ear bud phones - sounds a little muddy in the mid ranges on them. Sorry, haven’t got time for a more thorough listen though.

cheers guys, yeah i think your right about the mids, i havent really got into eqing yet, just trying to learn to put together tracks i like, was also a bit lazy with the fx…

Yeah I agree, bit muddy, not clear enough.
Like the groove to it though. I’d say it’s minimal tbh, not that it matters really.
so if i wanted to get rid of the mud would i just cut a little of the mids from all the synth sounds trying not to alter their character too much? thanks for listening btw

Yes mate, it’s just a case of some frequencies clashing thus your sounds not being able to pull through the mix.
Try messing around by putting eq’s on certain synths. Think of it like a piano, you have the whole range of the keyboard and every synth occupies a key range or octave. If I’m wrong here, someone pull me up please lol.

thanks bryan, yeah i was trying to make something more mellow and less busy, i think im gonna do more tracks like this when my musical knowledge gets a bit better and try and get a bit more emotion in some how
