Made this over the course of an afternoon. I wanted a deep old skool progressive sound, beginning of the night warm up.br

Although this is very basic in terms of layers I found it quite hypnotic. I think you need to work more on the transitions at the end of each 8 bar, some different sweeps, crashes etc…, they don’t have to be too prominent but just something to break it up a bit. Also bring in more elements after the break, as although it did have me tapping, it doesn’t really go anywhere and gets too repetitive, some stabs, an arp perhaps, something that you can open up the filter on to make the track build and build, at the moment there’s nothing to really identify the tune by, no main lead. I won’t comment on the overall mix and sound cause I’m listening on some crappy headphones at work, but everything seems to sit nicely as far as I can tell.
