Apart from Pacha, is there any other clubs that are good for House music?
I’m planning on getting pretty smashed up to be honest, be it on my own (likely) or with a few of you fellow SA usa peeps? (thought i’d throw the offer out there but can’t see it happening lol)
I hope you enjoy your time over here. Unfortunately, I don’t get to New York very often so I don’t really know what’s good up there, but if you happen to come down to Philadelphia let me know.

@ Roben - Haven’t been there. I just moved back to the Philly area from Miami and before that Los Angeles. SO I’ve been out of the New York seen for a long time. I checked it out online though. looks pretty cool. You’ll have to let me know how it is.
Are you heading straight to New York from your plane ride? If not, I’d love to meet up with a fellow SA 'er for a drink or two. There is another person on here who lives in Philly as well. We met up a few times. Maybe he’d be interested as well.

First off, it’s been so long since I heard the word panhandler that I actually had to look up its meaning…Bum (don’t laugh at the word Bum Slender, I know you want to) is the term I am used to, and yes there are way too many. It’s really ashame, because the city is full of history and it has really gone downhill lately. Way to many murders for a city know as “The City of Brotherly Love.”

Roben… webster hall is a great place, but its a big spot. I only enjoy going to webster hall if there is a big party that night. For instance June 25th is Sean Tyas, John O’Callahan, Sied Van Riel, W&W, Tom Colontonio and more… thats a party 2 go to.
Other cool spot that might be more 2 your liking is Cielo. Thats a smaller venue, but very nice.
Dude I’ve been all over NYC. I go up there all the time. If I was you tho, I’d be looking at your favorite DJs and seeing if any of them are bringing the DJs to the area.

+1 to this. I’ve not been to NY for a couple of years, but the last time I went I had a great night in Cielo.
Edit: Also Webster Hall - I think you have just missed Body & Soul one off party there
Roben when are you coming in? I just emailed my friend to see if she still has the hook up at Pacha and Cielo both of which she has got me and some of my friends in.
Cielo is in the meatpacking district which is more of a trendy type club right along with all the other lounges and clubs in that area. Not a bad club though! Kinda of small too.

Well i’m going to be working in Pottstown, Pennsylvania till August 13th, then i’ve got between that and August 22nd to do what ever I like! Not sure where to go or what to do, i just thought hitting it up in NY would be pretty cool.

Awesome. I just spoke to another SA person in the area and he is also interested in meeting up. UV, any places that you are particular to?
I’m done my summer semester on August 2nd. So I’m good after that.
