Yeah this. He has sacrificed the NOTW workers to protect Rebekah Brooks, his son and the deal to buy BSkyB.
There is some irony though that the NOTW reports have spent years discrediting the unions and now they get laid off in an unacceptable way.

But… I have to say - it is a shame for the people who work there & families that rely on the wage etc… Couldnt have happened at a worse time given the economic climate & that.
