Was bored today and made this somehow…
Dont know what it is, dont know why I am posting it up, but feel free to comment on the track…
Instability by Amjad Saeed
Everything done on Massive and Ableton (No other plugins where used, all sounds from massive with fx from Ableton…).
Does anyone know why Massive goes all unstable with the Kick drums? Couldnt find a way to get it to stay consistent, but I do prefer it like that in this case…
Anyways, dont judge, I am just REAAAAALLY bored…
Another person who should go into sales
Actually I like it
Massive synth kicks? Probably trying to emulate analog style kicks, maybe?
Thats better IMO
I’ll think about going into sales
Surprised you liked it! Thanks really appreciate the comments!
Just realised NI Massive tends to do this with all Sine Wave Emphasized Patches (Dont know why I capitalized the first letter for all that but what the heck)…
Even my Sub-Basses come out weird sometimes…
yeah that’s quite a nice groove you got there.
in massive try enabling the ‘restart via gate’ parameter in the ‘osc’ tab and if there are phase issues try the monophonic settings in the ‘voicing’ tab.
im just discovering some of the amazing things that can be done with pitch modulated sines and a spectrum analyzer.
Thanks Sam, will definately check out the Restart Gate Thing, I always used it for more of a sound design thing than a “keeping it consistent” thing, can really get some basslines gritty if you move the gates to the right spots especially with the Modulation Oscillator section!
Glad you liked it!
nicely industrial sound! maybe you could try recording the sine kicks that you make, and whack it in a sampler or put the audio kicks straight into the sequencer? but as you say for this track you like this result which is cool. ive had issues with bass synths before which has resulted in no other option than to record the output, find the best stab and sample it.
Its A very Bored day till now , No Sales seance Morning , God Plz bring some excitement
