Why is it that when i look at images of professional studios, the monitors are on their side? Is there an audio reason for this or is it like shooting a gun on the side, cos it looks cool?
This is just a guess, but maybe they do that when the level of the desk is at the point where if they stand their speakers upright then they are no longer sitting between the tweeter and cone.
Like I said though, just a guess.
Yeah suppose it would make sense if it helps to keep the tweeter at ear level … I’ll get my coat
