Anyone got any good pointers for a decent sample pack / vst for orchestral work. I want to do some basic strings stuff for a deep house track I’m working on.

Nice thanks dude, I’ll def try that. I’ve mucked about with the orchestral stuff I’ve got already and blimey this is tough… Orchestral compesition is so much more different than anything I’ve done before.
I just need to work out how the instruments go together and I’m finding that basic step tough as!
