i freaking LOVE fake blood. their music is so pro. beast mode all the way.
You know what’s annoying right, finally finding inspiration and ideas for something and I can’t go ahead with it because i can’t find the parts!
I even tried downloading the full track to see if i could just get the vocal out, but there is too much else going on, i need the vocal on it’s own.
I think, I think, I think you should just use the same samples as they did.
You probably figured out by now what the original track is.
Riva Starr held a remix competition once with only a tiny sample of the track he used for Splendidub.
Besides that, I really like that track. Got it somewhere in my cd wallet. Big energetic track!
[quote]muz1903 (10/05/2011)[hr]Here is a link to a site that shows what track was sampled.
Who Fake Blood Sampled

That should make Roben’s day !
So how did they go about getting the acapella to that track???
They sampled it !
Sure… but it’s got other elements behind the vocal
I think that it doesn’t really make a difference in the Fake Blood track. There’s never a moment that has the vocal without any percussion.
So grab that old track. Filter out low ends. And chop out the samples you need. Load the sampler of your choice and get to work :w00t:
I’ll give it a go, cheers
I don’t really know what I’m talking about because I’m new to all this, but to me it sounds as if all of the parts from Fake Blood’s track are in the original.
Think I might have a go at trying to recreate this today to see how close I can get to it.
I also love the way that he chops up the acapellas in his remixes to make the original vocalist say Fake Blood, even when they never actually sang those words in the original song.
Just to clarify Fake Blood is one (very talented) dude. Aka DJ Touché!
