The Synth lead sounds you are using sound quite dated… i think the are an octave too high and could use a more modern sound… there are a few in ANA trance Leads Bank that would fit.br

Modern trance seems to use a lot more reverb and seems to be a lot softer sounding these days.br

Thanks Phil, I have used ANA on a few of the sounds, the 3 key piano sound that comes is an ANA trance lead, with the release reduced on the envelope and an extra bit of the Piano sound added on the 3 oscillator, but I will have a look at using it for the main leads too. The only problem is logic really struggles with ANA, especially if it’s an arpeggiated lead, it takes 10 times as long to automate cause I’m constantly having to freeze and unfreeze tracks.br

Do you have any comments on the mix in general, do you think it’s lacking anywhere. A few of the guys over on the other forum page said it was lacking a lot of bass, are you getting that too? I’m think of adding some more mid/low bass parts in there to really make it gallop along.br

I think you need to get the leads etc. more in to the mids… at the mo there is a big gap in the middle of freqs… thats why i suggested dropping the leads and octave.
