Cool little plug in for free in Computer Music this month incase you haven’t got it already, and it’s not even released by Photosounder just yet so for 6 quid it costs for the magazine it’s awesome. Shows you the harmonic content of whatever you put through it. I just found out what key a few of my kicks are in with it, a lot quicker than using a spectrum analyser.

Nah, it’s a visual thing. You get different coloured indicators hovering over the sounds fundamental and harmonics. It’s pretty cool. Doesn’t give you a reading like C or G but it’s easy enough to see where the big red blob is and thats the root note. No worries mate
