900 maybe?
We’ll find out on the 17th Feb!
Yes, I think you are right. I love using the 800, I can’t wait to try this new one out. I think I might get one…
oooooooooohhhhhhhhh, could do with an upgrade to be honest.
Maybe pioneer have finally made a mixer better than a+h?

pioneer kick allen and heaths *** and always has imo
every club which had a A&H that i played in not one of them worked 100% there was always a pot or something which would not work properly
the only thing i like about A&H mixers is the filters i think they sound really sweet but its not worth buying one just for that the djm800 is awesome and so much fun to use if i still djed it would be my first choice
i wonder what the price tag will be on the new djm pioneer make the best gear and no one comes close they know this and charge a small fortune…

I wouldn’t go quite as far as this, the A&H mixers sound really good. But the mixer I enjoy using the most is the DJM-800 by a long way. I play better when I use it, so for me it is the best mixer.
I’ve always thought that pioneer stuff is over price, poor build and poor sound quality, just my opinion guys

Well these are current prices, I don’t think they will go much above the cost of the 800 - they need to keep it far enough below the 2000. Maybe £1250 ish?
DJM-700 - £750
DJM-800 - £1150
DJM-2000- £2000

They are priced on what the market will bear, but yes they cost more than they should. Poor build, I have seen no evidence of this. Poor sound quality - no.
Sure the fader knobs fall off easy, but build wise they’re really robust and can take quite a pounding.
I find A&H mixers really tat and they’re more often than not broken somewhere or other everytime i’ve ever had the misfortune of using one.
Plus what is with 2 x mid range EQs? Stupid idea and unnecessary for club performance imo.
Any installed mixer get abused that’s what happens. I know that pioneer have improved since the 800, but before that they were proper ****! That’s a fact
