How can create such pitch shifting effect ? Is it done trough using the synthesizer or just some VST effects ?

Most synths have an area where you can set a pitch bend figure and then draw in some automation to pitch it up and down.
That just sounds like they used the synths built in one
What DAW and synths are you using?
