hey guys, ive got a bassline loop in a track, and i dont really want it sounding the same all through the piece,
can any one recomend a good pluggin i could get to chop it up a bit and change it?
ive put a fitler of it in parts and done a bit of automation but it needs some thing else
Not sure what kind of music you are making, but for a clean bassline sound I wouldn’t use fx plugins. Think it’d sound more natural when you chop or rearrange this loop on the end of every 4th bar (or 2nd bar).
If it’s a synth bass, you could play a bit with the cutoff or Q or ressonance of the filter you placed on top of it.
There are lots of things. Just listen to other tracks. Be creative. And play with it 
What kind of track is it?
I think this will have a bearing on what might be the best thing to do.
Can you post a clip of the track? Then we can advise more accurately from there.
