thanks for the dowload dude . i didnt want to buy this on beatport

this is the video of the original :). pretty much the same

To be honest, I listened to that guys and I didn’t like how the beginning was Valodja… Just didn’t fit too well, so mashed them together, the original and his bootleg - and called it a Re-Edit?! Thats allowed right?!

dude to be sincere. u been putting vocals and editing tracks from top beatport tracks . I noticed that there is not that much different from the Original version.

i dont know if we should call it an edit. i think that u should be carefull with it . you are not remixing those tracks and i wouldnt call an edit since you dont have the rights or license to edit those tracks .

letting everyone to download those tracks for free is awesome , due that i dont have to buy it on BP :stuck_out_tongue: .but it might be dangerous for you since you are using those tracks to call it you own . i did some research about it and i found out that ur artist names could be sued and also reported to the label distributors.

which they might not let you release Music in the future . not that i would be hating on you but i wanted to do the same using other artist music and end up finding bunch of BS . so i am sticking to making my own Music or working on remixes with the artist and label permission.

noooooooo dude. Absolutely not allowed as you need permission from copy right holders.

I made a track that had the same sample in it as a Mark Knight track. I was due for release then Marks Track came out and the label decided not to release it. So I thought make the most of it and called it a Mark Knight bootleg and gave it away for free. A few weeks later I got emails from Toolroom for copyright. I replied back explaining that the sample Mark and I used was a free sample that came with logic and my track contained no copyrighted material. This was their responce

[quote]TOOLROOM[hr]Re: copyright issue

Hi Stuart, We have reviewed the video here at Toolroom,

The track may not contain any copyrighted samples, but you have named it as a ‘Mark Knight Bootleg’. If you change the name so it in no way relates to Mark Knight’s track we wont monetize it. As long as its relating to one of our signed artists we will!

If you decide to keep the name of the video the same, we will monetize it, and if you refuse our copyright claim we will be forced to remove your video.

Thanks for contacting us!

I got away with this because I complied with toolroom and the track had no copyrighted material in it.

The bootlegs your doing defiantly do contain copyrighted material. Be careful with this stuff mate because it potentially could land you in the s**t!

I totally agree with you bro. i mean is even worse when you just add a vocal or dont even program any part of the track . and call it your remix ,bootleg or whatever

Right OK guys, thanks for the input. Moving forward, I will deffo bare this in mind.

It’s very risky with copyrights … i know all to well as im dealing with a few copyrights on the tunes me and lempo have done recently (not problems tho just the labels have to get them cleared to release)

letting something like this out for free without it being a full proper bootleg will get u in alot of trouble and belive me the labels will make sure they sort it
