Questions: How do I create the type of podcast that guys like Nicky Romero, Avicii, Tiesto do where it separates into individual tracks that are listed with cover art?? are they doing this in garage band, logic? are they recording in something like serato and then uploading it? I have no clue could really use the help

so no one on sonic academy has any clue?

Like that ? i think you have a mode to edit podcast in Itune.br
Or dl something like podcast editor i dont know.

yeah. along those lines. If you download any iTunes podcast from guys like nicky romero, tiesto, avicii, etc they have the same thing. I tried it in garageband because they have a podcast feature, but it didn’t work when transferred into itunes. I tried the same in iMovie. br

normally i make a mix, load it into logic, master it, then bounce it as one audio file. That file i then load into iMovie or garageband and load the chapters along with images. That file is then loaded onto my website which is tied to iTunes. somewhere along the line the chapters and images get lost in translation.

I uploaded a mix into Mixcloud last night, and they have an option where you can seperate out the tracks in the mix, and i think you can add information for the various tracks, perhaps including cover art?br
br
I’m not sure as i don’t really use these kinds of features, but try uploading your mix to Mixcloud and see what you can do with that.br
br
Short of that, they might be using some fairly sophisticated software/programs to do this, rather than bog-standard features from iTunes or Garageband etc.br
br
These guys would be willing to spend some serious money, time, effort and resources on doing this i would think, as it’s an important part of their overall marketing, PR and image strategy to have good quality podcasts.br

Maybe you need to buy other software to do what you want to do?
