When I lived in Spain there was some program that showed how in Bear Gryll’s show they filmed him jumping over a dangerous ‘ravine’, but really it was just a ditch by a road, using clever filming angles made it look completely different.

bear is full of sh*t… theres no way in the world if you were trying to survive out in the wilderness would you say… “well the safe way around this waterfall is to walk all the way down it to where the water is alot calmer… it would be very dangerous to cross here as we dont know how deep the water is and we dont know how many sharp rocks are below the waterfall… but i dont have time for that ive got to get across…”
and jumps off the waterfall into the water below… wtf…

:laugh: True but for some reason I still love Mr Grylls. However if it were to come down to who I would rather have with me on a stranded desert Island, Mears would win everytime. If it was for pure entertainment I would pick Bear.
