Powerfull Lead Sound!

Hi



I am trying to figure out how to make this lead/bass sound. I am close, but still a long way from the sound I want. Would be creat if someone in the forum could help, or if sonic academy could post a tutorial/tech tip on how to make the awesome sound!

the bass lead synth sound is simple. just a distorted bass sound. with a crap load of compression. then add a pulse sound on top of it playing the same beat as the distorted bass. group the 2 together and you are good 2 go!

Thanks, but can you please explain a little bit deeper? What kind of pulse sound do you mean?

a pulse wave. watch the subtractive synthesis tutorial on here, that’ll get you started.
