I prefer this, but it doesn’t offer a standard keyboard octave range. I’d like to change the octave on the fly how can I do this? I have it set to the ableton defaiult program as it works nice as an interface. Is there a program default for jamming?
I seem to like jamming ideas out better this way with kore packs or synths etc?
Anyone else got any Trigger Finger tips?
What you can do is pull a midi effect into the channel (I believe it is the note midi effect, or pitch, or something…) and map the note to one of your knobs on your trigger finger.
You have to remember that the way Ableton works is that manual mappings over ride automatic mappings. So, that’s a good thing. You can then tweak the range in midi map mode too.
If you want, you can always drum in your beat and notes and then throw a random on there and record the output… Just a thought. But you should explore all this stuff yourself dude. Open up Live and have at it. Check out the midi instruments and functions and start mapping shiz to your Trigger Finger.
