1.) How do you use it as a sampler? The main selling point for me is that I hear you can import snares/percussion into it and also tune them?br
br
2.)how exactly do you tune the kick? I know you adjust the points on the GUI to say which note you want, but there are 4 different notes. What I’m trying to ask, is how do you sequence the different notes you are able to set the kick to in order to make your kick a general universal pitch(aka the key of your song)br
…In other words if i need my kick to be in D# minor, which of those notes on the kick would actually be set to d#? Which notes would be other notes? What notes would they be? Basically I just want to know how to tune the kick and how you know which note to set the kicks breakpoints too, cuz in the presets a kick in A doesn’t necessarily have all the pitches set to A…so how do you go about that? That was a very awkward question to try wording.br
br
Also when I add kick to my cart it says version 1.01. I understand there are more recent versions? This is important for me because ill need AAX compatible, so the newest version.br
You can load any sample in to the kick Portion of lick.br
br
This just gives you standard pitch up down.br
br
For snares you can use the kick sweep as the body and load white noise for the top. I’ve created some great snares this way.br
br
The 1.2 AAX beta will be in your account after you make the purchase.br
br
Enjoy
Oh so it won’t actually map the sample of your snare? It just has the ability to pitch it up and down assuming you know what its original pitch is?br
br
br
Was hoping it would save some time on finding out snare pitchesbr
br
is there a tutorial anywhere on how to adjust the nodes to tune your kick? All ive really picked up so far is that the very last node is the key of your kick…but how do you treat the other nodes? br
Ive seen the 25 min video you guys put on youtube, just doesn’t say a lot about the theory behind tuning your kick.
